Ensuring safe and high-quality water standards through rigorous testing and monitoring. Our water meets WHO and ZABS specifications.
Service Details
Overview: Water quality refers to the physical, chemical and biological characteristics of water with respect to the set standards. It has an impact on both the public health and aesthetic value of water as a consumable product, and it is one of the main indicators of the quality of service provided to the consumer.
Quality Monitoring: For effective monitoring of water quality both self internal monitoring by the provider and an independent monitoring by a regulator is necessary.
Our Monitoring Process:
Internal Monitoring: Daily testing at our treatment plants
External Monitoring: Regular audits by NWASCO and ZABS
Distribution Network: Weekly sampling from customer taps
Emergency Testing: Immediate response to water quality complaints
Parameters Tested:
Physical: Turbidity, color, taste, odor, temperature
Chemical: pH, chlorine, hardness, heavy metals
Biological: E.coli, coliforms, bacteria count
Radiological: Radiation levels (as required)
Quality Standards Compliance: Our water quality meets both World Health Organization (WHO) drinking water guidelines and Zambia Bureau of Standards (ZABS) specifications.
Customer Reporting: We encourage customers to report any water quality concerns immediately through our customer service channels. Our team responds promptly to investigate and resolve any issues.
